MelodyFlash — Daily Melody Guessing Game
About MelodyFlash
MelodyFlash is a daily melody-recognition game. You hear a very short snippet of a public-domain melody and must identify it. After each wrong guess or skip, a longer snippet is unlocked, giving you more of the tune to work with. The snippet progression is 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, and 8 seconds — six attempts in total.
How to Play
Press the Play button to hear the current snippet. Use the search field to find and select your guess from the list of melodies. You can filter by category before your first guess. After that, the category locks in. Use the Test sound button to verify your audio is working before starting.
Scoring
You win by correctly naming the melody within six attempts. The shorter the snippet you needed, the better your result. Your streak counts consecutive days you succeed.
Strategy Tips
- Listen carefully to the opening notes — many melodies have distinctive intros.
- Use the category filter to narrow down possibilities before your first guess.
- If unsure, skip to unlock a longer snippet rather than wasting a guess.

No commercial recordings are used. Audio starts only after a user gesture, satisfying iOS Safari requirements. A volume control is available, and a Test sound button lets you verify audio before playing.
